Maria Quiles is a folk Americana songwriter whose music lives at the crossroads of grit and grace. With a voice that carries equal parts tenderness and fire, she writes songs that explore love, loss, resilience, and the quiet courage of becoming.
As the songwriter and frontwoman of the nationally touring duo Quiles & Cloud, Maria released music with Compass Records, won the FreshGrass Duo Competition, and shared stages with artists including Jerry Douglas, Aoife O'Donovan, Pete Rowan, and John Craigie.
Now based in Carrboro, North Carolina, Maria is entering a new creative season. After years devoted to songwriting, caregiving, travel, and the study of healing, she's returning to the stage with a new body of work born from lived experience and a deep belief that music can restore, connect, and awaken us. Alongside writing her next record, she teaches music, yoga, and her voice-centered practice, BodySong, helping others discover the healing power of authentic expression.
